Interview Questions

1.  What’s one strategy your business used recently that created meaningful growth?

One strategy that’s created meaningful growth recently has been focusing on intentional relationship building. Prioritizing connecting with a smaller group of leaders where I can add real value through conversations, insights, and introductions. That approach has led to stronger relationships and new opportunities.

2.  How has AI or technology changed the way you operate or serve clients?

AI has helped accelerate the marketing side of the business. It allows me to quickly develop Content and stay consistent with thought leadership across platforms. That consistency helps attract the right conversations with leaders who are already thinking about growth and development.

3.  What’s one thing you stopped doing that actually helped your business grow?

I stopped trying to do all the administrative work myself. Delegating and using technology to streamline operations freed up time to focus on clients and growth-oriented activities, which had a bigger impact than I expected.

4.  What’s a customer insight you discovered that changed the way you do business?

One key insight was realizing that leaders don’t want more information, they want perspective. That’s shaped how I structure conversations and the value I focus on delivering.

5. If a business had to improve ONE area to grow faster in the next 90 days, what should it be?

If a business had to improve one area to grow faster in the next 90 days, it should focus on sharpening its messaging and positioning. Clear, compelling messaging helps attract the right clients, makes marketing more effective, and accelerates growth across the organization.

6.  What’s one thing you do consistently that keeps your pipeline healthy?

I consistently share thought leadership Content on one key platform. By staying visible and providing value regularly, I attract the right conversations and clients.

7.  What’s a decision you made in the last year that had a bigger impact than you expected, and what led you to make it?:

One decision that had a bigger impact than I expected was accepting fewer clients last year. I made the choice to focus on deeper, higher-value work with each person rather than spreading myself too thin. The result was stronger outcomes for clients, more meaningful relationships, and ultimately more referrals than if I had tried to take everyone on.

8.  What’s one process you streamlined that made a noticeable difference in efficiency or results?

I prioritize marketing with one social network rather than trying to be everywhere. This focus allows me to deliver consistent, high-value Content, build stronger connections, and drive measurable growth efficiently.

9. What book, podcast, or resource has influenced your thinking or business decisions lately and why?

The book that has had the biggest impact on me lately is Never Play Safe by Chase Jarvis. I love how it emphasizes taking bold action while focusing your attention on the priorities that truly drive impact. Attention is our most valuable energy currency, and when directed at the right things – it can make you unstoppable.
