Interview Questions

1.  What’s one strategy your business used recently that created meaningful growth?

I recently teamed up with another photographer who shares the same values of quality and growth. We made a little “chavruta” and practiced some lighting techniques together. We also created a WhatsApp group – just us – sharing our wins. To give each of us a non-competitive place to share and encourage one another.

2.  How has AI or technology changed the way you operate or serve clients?

It has helped me tremendously in saving time both for my event clients in preparing quotes and for my growing YouTube channel in helping me script and prepare posts to promote my work.

3.  What’s one thing you stopped doing that actually helped your business grow?

I stopped DIY-ing everything. I use AI, as well as having the woman who works for me deal with my clients and their albums, etc.

4.  What’s a customer insight you discovered that changed the way you do business?

I am not sure it is what I changed – I have always been aware that people care about how you make them feel less than features of a product

5. If a business had to improve ONE area to grow faster in the next 90 days, what should it be?

Be authentic in every way – be yourself

6.  What’s one thing you do consistently that keeps your pipeline healthy?

I am always learning new equipment and techniques, and i think my consistent posting on FB, IG, and Youtube has helped as well.

7.  What’s a decision you made in the last year that had a bigger impact than you expected, and what led you to make it?:

Hi, I decided to join the VRA (Video Ranking Academy) to really grow my YouTube channel, and it has grown. And now I need to work on making more income from this tool.

8.  What’s one process you streamlined that made a noticeable difference in efficiency or results?

I outsourced my video editing – it takes a tremendous amount of time that I don’t have, and I use someone from overseas, so it is quite a bit less of a financial investment than using someone here, though it does add up.

9. What book, podcast, or resource has influenced your thinking or business decisions lately and why?

Pat Flynn Super Fans – I am still reading it, but it only reinforced what I know and really aim to do – to go beyond the expectations of my clients and create super fans that way
